A bit embarrassing, but...

a big thanks to Karen Hoag for such a kindly written article.

This was published in the Daily Herald during my forced hiatus from internet access. Click if you like; don't worry, it's a quick read!

And no, we don't know if it's a boy or girl yet. We're keeping our fingers crossed for Friday's ultrasound :)

Congrats on the pregnancy! It is SO hard to cook when you're pregnant. I seriously fed my family a lot of frozen waffles, grilled cheese, and fast food in the early months of this pregnancy. It's better now, but I still am too tired to cook a lot of nights and try to plan easy meals. Hope the ultrasound goes well next week!

How fun is that to have an article written about you and your fam!!! I didn't know you were having a baby...or did I??? It seems so many of my friends are pregnant these days, I can't keep track! I'm due with #2 Feb 2! When is your due date???

Thanks everyone! I'm really happy to be safely in the second trimester (I'm due Feb. 9), but the first trimester was rough. This blog kept me cooking most nights, but I had my husband pick up take-and-bake pizzas on his way home from work more than once! Hopefully all will go smoothly from here on out. Good luck, Shannon and Kimberly, with your little ones on the way.

Rachelle! I found your site through Crystal and have been following it for a while. I just realized through this article that it was YOU! I don't know if you remember me but we were in your ward in Provo a couple of years ago. Anyway, congrats on your little boy and your soon to be new addition. Thanks for your website...I have loved trying your recipes.
